Student Visa Requirements for Russia

To get a student visa you have to start your application process around a year prior to your estimated time of leaving the country.

It is pertinent to note that the above flowchart is only indicative and it is advised to take professional help from the experts at VEC to enable a no-glitch and properly documented application. A properly documented application improves the chance of obtaining a study permit. To get a student visa, international students should've been accepted into a course at a Russian University, college, or institute of higher education. A student visa doesn't allow you to work while studying. If you wish to work while studying you'll need a Russian work permit.
