UK Education

The United Kingdom is an island nation off the coast of Europe, made up of four regions - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The bustling capital city of London is a major cultural and commercial hub of the world, making it a melting pot of young, aspiring people from every corner of the globe. Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Belfast and Edinburgh are some of the other popular metropolitan cities of the country. Considered a superpower since centuries and home to the world’s most famous (and enigmatic) royal family, the United Kingdom has given the modern world great pieces of literature, theatre, art and music.

Climate
The climate of the UK is called maritime temperate climate, with temperatures not much lower than 0° in the winters and higher than 32° in the summers. July and August are the warmest and wettest months of the year while January and February are the coldest months. Due to its geographical state, the UK has temperamental weather due to its surrounding seas. The sunniest parts of the country are along the southern coast and England’s Lake District receives the most rainfall. Contrary to popular belief, it does not rain every day in the UK; however, it is always smart to be prepared with waterproof clothing.
