Permanent Residency in Philippines

To score Permanent Residency in the Philippines, you have to be a resident in the Philippines for at least 10 years, and you must fill up your intentions with the Office of the Solicitor General. The process takes about 2.5 years after the filing of intention. The Philippines allows Dual citizenship so you can hold citizenship of your former country as well.

But before applying for PR in the Philippines, you'll have to secure an Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE), which is basically your work visa. To apply for AEP you'll have to secure a job contract with a Philippine-based institution before applying, it usually takes 3 months and the visa would be valid for 1-3 years and can be renewed for additional 3 years.
