Minimum Wages

  • Minimum Wage in the Philippines varies from region to region, it ranges from PHP316(US $6.57) to PHP537(US $11.57) which might seem a little less when compared with countries like the USA and Canada but the cost of living in the Philippines is very affordable.

PREMIUM PAY

  • Premium Pay is an overtime pay for working on holidays. Employers pay a minimum 30% more for working on holidays. All employees are eligible for premium pay.

NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

  • Employees who work between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM get an additional 10% premium at every hour at work.

SEPARATION PAY

  • According to the Labour Code of the Philippines, terminated employees get 1/2 month or 1 month pay after leaving the company.

RETIREMENT PAY

  • As per the DOLE National Wages and Productivity Commission, An employee that has served a company for more than 5 years would be granted one-half pay every month.
